It's a range. The level meter is not very precise, and is telling you
that the signal is somewhere between -7.5dBm and +2dBm. This is fine,
and what you want it to be. The other ranges are -7.5 to -15, -15 to -22.5
and below -22.5. There may also be one for signals hotter than +2 but I
haven't seen it.

If you want greater precision, a T-Berd will do this and a lot more.
Not cheap. Or an RMS voltmeter with good frequency response and a
precision terminator.

In the real world, don't sweat it as long as the error counts aren't
climbing.
