I just had a customer with one of these call also. I sold these modems for
years. These are probably X2 modems and not capable of doing V.90 without a
software upgrade.
One of my employees, found the answer, but he no longer works here. Call
1-800-I WANT 56 http://www.3com.com/util/modem.html for more phone numbers.
I think you need a different Modem Wizard for the OEM modems.
