(PMOD) Global Village

Last week I seemed to stir the list with a post concerning the USR winmodems
packaged on the Dell and Gateway machines. Here is another one that seems
to be causing problems.

The Global Village TelePort 56 Fax/Modem Model A284 running under OT 1.2 and
OT/PPP 1.0.1 seems to connect properly to a PM3 running ComOS 3.8.2c2 but
consistently fails on a PM4 running 4.0.3c2.

Anyone else have similiar problems with this modem?
