I have a customer who is having problems connecting to us at anything
greater than 21.6 and I was curious to know if anyone could help
"decode" the following responses so I can handle them better in the
future. As far as I can tell, the connection is being initiated at 21.6
and dropping down to 16.8 with a very low upload speed 9600.
The flash date seems to be rather old, however without physical access
to this modem.. I can not seem to find out if a newer firmware exists.
The Signal to Noise ratio and Transmit/Receive levels seem normal. ATY11
seems to indicate that there is more than one D/A conversion on the line
as the difference between 3750 and 3300 hz is 37.
Is there anything I missed? If the SNR is about average but the freq
difference between 3750 and 3300 hz is > 25, it typically
means that there is more than one D/A conversion on the line.. not that
there is any other serious impairment correct?
