I have come across a modem that I can not identfy. Does anybody have a
magic init string to make this monster connect to a PM3? BTW, I just got
off the phone with Compaq TS. They told me that it was a K Flex capable
modem that was still V.34 and needed to be flashed up to 56k capabilities.
I am not sure wheter V.90 is an issue yet. I would like to get the thing
working with V.34 first.

The computer is a Compaq Presario 5500

The modem properties says:
Compaq Presario 56-df

The more info box says:

Port com 2 IRQ 3 Address 2f8
Uart NS 16550 AN 115k baud
compaq presario 56k-df
Bios\:cpqbo39,*cpqbo39

ATI 1 efqe
2 ok
3 presario 56k -df ver 1.3.12> 4 70h
5 9,19
6 ok
7 ok
