(PMOD) Rockwell Riptide

Having problems with a Rockwell HCF. It came in an HP Pavilion 6470Z--HP
says it's a Riptide and has a driver update. Unfortunately, the customer
can't connect at all to get the fix, the driver fix is 1.5M so a floppy in
the mail won't work, he doesn't have a zip drive, and I can't afford the
time to take the ferryboat ride out to his home to deliver the fix. Anyone
have an init string that will bump this thing down to 28.8 or 14.4 so he can
get the fix? thanx...
