The problem is that he has an old software driver installed (see ATI3), he
needs to install at least v2.1.2.135 or the lastest version available for
his modem (v2.1.2.156).
Also, you might have him try adding "+MS=,,,,,41333" to his modems "Extra
Settings". See for more information:

This problem is mentioned in the Release Notes, and that they are still
working on the problem.
