If you can't get an init string, there *is* another way. Load the driver
fix on to multiple floppies using "slice" - it's available from the
Ziff-Davis web site. When you slice a file up, the program puts a little
"splice" routine on the first disk so you can put it all back together on
another machine.
I've been using it since it was developed back in 1983...
