Just joined to help a customer (and a friend) resolve his Mac / modem
disconnects.
Older mac 68040 cpu with a Global Village (unknown version flashable
modem). Flashed to V.90. External I see 40,000 connect rates on the PM3
for his connection.
Error message is: connected at a unknown rate and disconects randomly @ 3
to 10 minutes.
Is there just a problem having this fast modem on a slower mac? Wrong
driver? I have a very early non upgradable external Supra on a similar vintage
68040 that works.
Where do I go at this point?
