(PMOD) Modem Problem with 3.9b9

Ok, the modem is K56 Parallel Voice/Fax. The user was having to dial
three times until connecting at around 40,000. I think he may need new
drivers, so does anyone have any idea what kind of modem this is, I'll be
greatly appreciative.
