1. Port speed depends upon the machine. If it is xxxAV or most Quadras,
it will do 115200. Other 68040 machines will generally do 57600...38400
was the limit for some older pre-68040 machines.
2. A working INIT string should be
AT&F1W2
(all the W2 does is change the reporting to verbal with speeds--AT&F1 is
sufficient, but speed won't be reported).
3. "CTS only" is indeed the correct for external GV modems which are
having trouble.
