(PMOD) [PMOD] iMac modems

I am having trouble keeping my imac modem connected to a PM3 running ComOS
3.8.2c. It gets connected at about 45333, but it drops the connection
semi-regularly. It has been flashed with the modem updater available at
apples website, but that really didn't help. The only other info I can
find on it is that it has an unspecified Rockwell Chipset. Anyone have any
ideas?
