According to my customer he has been having this same problem with other
ISPs, where it would fail to connect/connect and disconnect a few minutes
later.
He was able to make his modem get a stable connection by changing the
"Maximum Speed" from 115200 to 38400. But then the modem would only do
28.8.
I sent an e-mail to Archteck, and they advised to use &Nn, where n 0-32. We
tried N20 (44000), and his modem will connect but only at 28.8 (NOTE: we
changed Maximum Speed back to 115200).
I guess it back to asking Archteck for an updated V90 modem code.
