Rockwell HFC, Conxiant, and A-Open (cardboard modems :-) have much
difficulty connecting on a PM4 with the latest ComOS revision 4 and
higher, and will almost completely prevent users with these and similar
modems from connecting. We have found that adding 3 commas after the
number solves the problem every time, without reducing the connection
rate to the customer. And everyone is happy for now......
