- 3Com Sportsters (non-winmodems)
- Zoom 2949L (Make sure it's the L model--it has a Lucent Venus
chipset--the same as the PM3).
- Lucent LT Winmodems w/latest firmware. We actually keep these modems
on hand and when a customer has a modem that has problems that can't
seem to be fixed by firmware upgrades or the other standard tricks, we
take their modem in on trade, and charge them our cost for an LT (around
$30.00). Most are happy to pay it, especially if you show them how much
better it connects than their old piece of junk modem. The ones we use
are made my Paradise Multimedia.
