how to clear counters (was Re: (PMOD) Frequent disconnects)

Those admonitions out of the way.

As Kimmo wrote, to completely clear the counters requires either a hard or
soft reboot. By hard I mean a power down, soft by doing a reboot from
CLI. PM2/3/4s do not have any method for clearing counters from CLI,
these counters just increment and increment as necessary ;)

There are a couple of other ways to check and clear the error counters
a) use snmp and the ability for the client to clear counters
b) use one of the java tools for keeping track of the errors.
c) track them with some sort of script (too much work IMO)
