I will concur with that. Additionally, fax machines, answering machines,
line splitters and user installed extensions in the house and to outside
bldgs. We have users near a 50k AM radio station and at certain times they
can't connect at all. We have had little trouble in our shop getting
connects and staying connected with virtually every modem made, but in some
neighborhoods it is a nightmare. The problems also move around town and
people with excellent connects will suddenly have a day or two of problems
and then they are ok again! Of course, getting the customer to even
mention or admit they have a new phone or answering machine can be a trick
in itself. Perhaps it is the aliens here in Roswell, NM but it is difficult
to explain to the customers unless you have a good repoire with them.
