We've been having some trouble with USR 56k modems (as well as a few
other varieties - but most consistantly the USR 56k) connecting to our
PM3 running Com OS 3.8.2.
Browsing through the archives on portmaster-users and portmaster-modems
lists, I've run into some varying opinions regarding a soloution to
these problems. I've seen two posts that suggest the problems were
remedied by reverting back to Com OS 3.8, and then others suggesting
that it was remedied by upgrading to Com OS 3.8.2
I thought I might open the subject again and see if anyone can offer
some advice or assistance.
