I got in touch with the modem group. They are working on a solution. I
told them that this box is one hot item for game play. It appears they new
right off the bat that it would kill these machines trying to connect! At
least it could have been in the release info, or I missed it one!

Got to remember your clients out there. Large part of them our under 25.

I downgraded one PM3 to 2.8.2c to check out the results.

FWIW:

We keep 64 analog lines (33.6) for our users who have problems due to lines
or crappy modems going to our PM3's.

The SEGA Dreamcast could not connect to these analog Microcom & USR's
either...... ; )
