I just hung up with a guy who has one of these in an Emachine. I found
that he connected at 44000, but then jumped to 48000. When he did that,
he could get no data through the modem. Try the following string,
lowering the speed as needed; speed is controlled by the last number.
n0s37=14s34=12
Limits to 44K forcing V.90. you can lower the 12 to drop speed or raise
12 to increase it.
