This is probably the manufacturer's product or version code. It doesn't
look familiar to me, though.

It's a Rockwell-based v.34 modem, pre-33.6. I have a Magnum 28.8 with an
identical chipset and revision number. The code is a bit old, as Jake
mentioned. I usually connect at 26400 to our PM3's, but it's solid.
Under Windows 9x, the "Standard 28800" modem INF should work.
