1. Disallow multiple logins.
2. Limit some users to specified times of the day.
3. Allow DEFAULT.xxx type entries in the users file to simplify
choosing between shell, SLIP and PPP.
4. Only let one user in a specified group log in at once.
I have a custom version of Radius where I added 1 and 3. The only change
is I use a "-" instead of a "." to determine the extension. I will be
implementing 4 to allow family accounts where there ate several physical
accounts, but only one login at a time. 2 is obviously useful as well.
I don't see a problem adding 2 and 4 to my version, but before I added
them I wanted to check and see how far along the other version of Radius
is.
A related problem to #2 is that there is no easy way to kick a SLIP or
PPP user off the portmaster without some sort of login script, which is
kind of kludgy. Any solutions/comments? Thanks.
