read the mail attached. Matthew S. Crocker has done almost what you want.
I use it -- very simple and nice.

Subject: MSQL PATCHES (READ THIS)
The mSQL database patches are available for the Livingston Radius server.
You can get the patch at:
ftp.crocker.com/pub/users/matthew/Radius-mSQL.tar.gz
The patch is NOT a context diff (couldn't get it to work right) it is a
drop in replacement for acct.c with a few other files, you will need to
get mSQL yourself, and I trust you will register your version (read the
stuff that comes with mSQL)
This patch is released to the Public Domain, you can do with it what you
will, please send me any bug fixes and/or enhancements
Don't come running to me if you lose valuable accounting data and can't
bill your customers because of this patch.
