to discuss Re: Newsgroups:

david@igcom.net,
We are running with variable IP assignments for our users. We want read
restrictions to prevent not paying users (and unsupervised children) from
reading newsgroups. I cannot assign access privledges based on IP addr, since
it is randomized. I was hoping for a solution through INN, since I really have
not messed with packet filtering and did not want have to spend time learning
how to do it and fighting with even more configuration problems.
