Actually its the supervisopr chip in the usr sportser that has a flaw.
Eventually they do degrade into poor performance. USR will upgrade these
chips for free or you can get the chips yourself and install them. To
check on the the date of your supervisor chip I believe the command is
ati7 been awhile since I replaced ours. USR will have all the info in a
fax back sheet or you can go to their web page.
