Or, with a RDBMS, you just do:

Select NumbCalls=Count(*), Mins=Sum(AcctSessionTime/60)
>From Calls Where Username = "daler" and CallDate > "2/1/97"

and don't do the cron. :) We have been looking into some nice
SQL interfaces for UNIX systems to make this easier for UNIX
hosts.
