Radius 2 / DBM and Password Changing...

Hi All,

I am just starting to experiment with Radius 2.0 with DBM tables...

Unfortunately we have all of our scripts and processes written to deal
with the flat users file. In summary...

1. We do expire the users passwords every 60 days
2. We wrote an interface in front of radpass to allow users to change
the
passwords.
3. On forgotten/lost passwords we are currently manually editing the
users
file.
4. We have fully automated the adding of new users to the users flat
file.

So..

For items 1 & 2...Will radpass work OK with DBM tables? It seems to
change
the password in the flat file and not the DBM tables. If this is
normal...
then do I just need to run builddbm after every password change?
Perhaps
I missed something...

I have not thought of an automated solution for item 3 . Can radpass
(or
something else) be modified to...
1. Force a password change (Not knowing the current password)
2. Force the password expiration date to be expired.

I suspect that item 4 is as simple as keeping the current scripts and
to re-run buildbm after users have been added.

Thanks in advance

JJ
