=) This is something I might have overlooked, I didn't think a small
script like pmwho would really be that much slower in perl than in C.

That's strange, our modems are very sensitive when dropping carrier, in
fact maybe a little too sensitive as they sometimes drop carrier when
they're not supposed to! ;) We were running 3.3.1, have just upgraded to
3.5 about an hour ago, will see what happens.

P.S. Was there anything unusual to indicate that the user was in reality
NOT logged in?
