Ideal Init for UTA-220?

I have some Motorola UTA 220s installed onsite here and would like to know
if anyone has found the ideal init string for these units? I am having
a few problems with DTR drop recognition and furthermore, the ports seem
to always been in USERNAME (rather than IDLE) mode.
