I have a bitsurfer connected to a port on a Portmaster, and am dialing
into it with an ascend pipeline50. For some reason, the PPP session
doesn't seem to make it all the way.
Running radiusd -x shows:
radrecv: Request from host cc760404 code=1, id=74, length=76
User-Name = "ppp:pipehome"
Password = "[*****]"
Client-Id = 204.118.4.4
Client-Port-Id = 1
User-Service-Type = Framed-User
Framed-Protocol = PPP
Sending Ack of id 74 to cc760404 (tserv3.smartlink.net)
Framed-Address = 204.118.53.142
Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.0
Framed-Protocol = PPP
Which looks fine to me, however, show sessions shows the username of
"PPP" and status is "CONNECTING". So close.....
One other thing that may be related is that the
/var/adm/radacct/tserv.../detail file never seems to grow, it only grows
by 150 bytes when I reboot the portmaster (the bitsurfr is the only
device connected to it right now.). set accounting has been set.
Does anyone know what could be wrong? Does anyone have a p50 connected
to a TA connected to a Pmaster?
Thanks,
-joe
