Scatch that - I can do it here with 3.1.3 telneting from our main machine.

The misunderstanding I believe is that you have to do it at the login:
prompt. They had tested it after loggining in.

Bad news: As far as I can tell this has always been in there, downgrading
won't help.

Good news: We have one unit testing a beta 3.1.4, I can't bash on it too
much because it is being used for other things. But I did get a brief
chance to try it - it didn't reboot.

So, it looks like this might be gone in 3.1.4 - don't hold me to it, just
a ray of hope. ;-)

When it's closer to release I can bash on one to see if I can break it.
