Brian,
I think what you are seeing now is the fact that alot of portmaster
users/owners thought that the only line of defense they needed to
keep their PM2** from being screwed with was a safe password and a
locked door, your right, their is an easy solution, a packet filter.
I would like to see Tech Support from Livingston mail this filter
to the mailing list so the customers of Livingston can feel a little
more at ease, yes filters are easy to do and no their is no bullet
proof filter, but it would be nice to see Livingston jump on the
oppurtunity to broadcast to their product purchasers that they 'cared'
enough to send a band-aid to all of those people that didn't think
breathing
deep and relaxing was the solution.
