We have had some bitsurfers hooked up to a Portmaster 2e30 for about a month.
in a testing / beta mode. They work fine. The portmaster will sometimes
crash under heavy load. By the way we have tested them with the Annex hardware
and it works fine also.
We run PPP and UUCP protocols over the ISDN connections. CuSeeMe works fairly
well with this kind of setup.
We've had terrible trouble on the other end - most PC's com ports and drivers
really are not able to handle the sustained traffic level on a UUCP feed
for example.
Some of our more aggresive beta testers have upgraded to Windows95 and report
that the com performance of Win95 is much better than Win3.1. This is with
the "core" winsock rather than the Micro$oft winsock however.
