Ditto here. We fought with a couple of those &^@#&$@# things for days
before we figured out it was the modem that was at fault. We replaced
them with some other garden variety Mac-modem (sorry I don't remember
which off head) and the problems immediately went away,
Incidently, we're using Zyxcel 1496-UR rackmount modems in our modem
pool. I didn't try running it gainst any other type of modem. Perhaps
the problem is really compatibility between the GV and the Zyxcel.
Anyone care to provide another data point on this one?
