Currently we have several users that would like to connect there small
networks to the Internet by dialing into out PM and have a group of
addresses assigned to them.
We currently have a Class C address that we use for ourselves and
another Class C that we are going to sunbet to a .240 thereby haveing 16
nets of 14 host each.
The FACTS:
Our internal Class C is 207.77.56.x and the Class C we plan on
subnetting is 207.77.57.x.
We have one of the Portmasters set up at 207.77.56.16 and it uses an
assigned pool from 207.77.56.30-59.
Our Cisco is at 207.77.56.1
In our main router which is connected to the Internet, we have subnetted
out 1 net -- 207.77.57.16 with a netmask of 255.255.255.240 thereby
providing a host range of .17 to .30.
The command we issued to do this in the Cisco was:
ip route 207.77.57.16 255.255.255.240 207.77.56.105
We used 207.77.56.105 above just as an IP address that we would route
the net to if we were using a router.
One of our clients would like to have their dialup router call our
portmaster, establish a 28.8k connection and provide a route for the 14
IPs on the 207.77.57.16 255.255.255.240 network.
They will assign an address of 207.77.57.17 to the ethernet card on
their router, and then they will have 4 host on their side from .18-.21.
How do we accomplish this using the RADIUS USERS. file? I have been
trying to get this done for two weeks and the information I have gotten
from different sources does not jive. Most described how to do it with a
full Class C.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
