Radius & Linux Shadow

FYI & Further to prior email on the subject.
We got Default UNIX password authentication going on our Linux machine
with shadow passwords by using the Ascend version of Radius. I got yet
another binary that "works" (thanks John) on Linux version 2 with shadow,
but it wouldn't, so we've given up & we'll use the Ascend one.

We tried all the patches, combinations of dictionary files, different
binaries and the Livingston one never worked.
I even questioned if 'our' shadow passwd system was not normal, but
we've always had shadow on and all our other applicationswork just fine.

Ah well, the one we have does work now, just had some learning to
do getting the differences worked out with the dictionary and users files.

Thanks to those that offered suggestions, I'll be keeping an eye out for
anyone else who has the problem and any further fixes.
