External ISDN

We're still toying with the thought of ISDN and we're not yet sure if
we will be using it en masse or not. Towards that end we've gotten a
single BRI and would like to get a BitSurfer Pro to test it with, my
questions are:

1) Can an External ISDN device work with a normal PM2E?
2) In this configuration can you only use one B or 2B?
3) If 2B How does bonding work?
4) Is there anything special you need to do to the portmaster for it
to work?
