Yes, it can it just like a regular modem on an async port.

Either or, depends on the config of both modems. The async ports
limit to you 115200, but you will still get better performance
with 2Bs at 56K than 2Bs at 64k. Or atleast the weather reports from
various users indicate that there mileage vazried as above. (WHEW!!)

Try this init string for the BitSurfer Pro

at&c1&d3\q3%a2=95%a4=1@b0=2&w

Unfortunately the BSP doesn't respond fast enough for the modem table
init string to show as configured so you can 'attach' to the port and
issue the init string or setup the port for telent service and do it that
way (it is on our web site tech notes.)

It won't be bonding, it'll be mutlilink PPP, which apparently doesn't
work BitSurfer to BitSurfer.

If you are going BitSurfer to BitSurfer you will need Motorola's
AIMux. conslut page 7-1 of the BitSurfer Pro User's Guide
(July 1995 edition).
