I can not figure this out every body complaines about the sportsters we
as I have said before have 300+ and we have had "1" DOA and I just
checked a total of 3 go bad.

I will say that the stability of some of their firmware does vary we do
use diffrent INIT's depending which firmare virsion the modems have but
still...

A few months ago after I heard people complaning about thing I went and
did mega 2 day worth of graphing and looking at avarage connect time and
idle times in hust groups and looking at octets transfered per session
ect to see if I could find any patteren for bad performance. or to see if
we were having some of the same problems (customers rarelly complain
about anything but our news server... :-( ) I was not able to find any
problems...

Hmmm.. I do not know... I guess we are just lucky..(that would be a
first.)
