No it does not. I want this to be perfectly clear.
At FCS (first customer ship) for dialing it supports PRI *ONLY*.
It also supports WAn routing, including channelized T1/E1. It *WILL NOT*
support channelized T1/E1 for DIALIN!
That WILL be added, probably a couple of months after FCS, as a software
upgrade. Don't quote me on dates, that is my best estimate and not anything
official.
>Can it/Will it support BRI? I can only order PRI from 1 CO in my area
No, the PM3 will not support BRI. BRI support for now is the PM-2i/2ei
units and the 5-BRI cards. We are looking at the possibility of doing a
next-gen BRI unit, but nothing is solid at this time. Let us get the PM-3
out and solid before we do another new box.

>Digital modems in a PM3?
No.
>I can get Channelized T1 service (FlexPath) here locally, Can I run that
>into a PM3 and get digital modems to work? Can I get ISDN to work over that?
Not yet. You will be able to get channelized T1 for digital modem use when
we add that feature in software. But you won't be able to do ISDN over
that - that is a telco limitation. PRI is basically channelized T1/E1 with
ISDN signalling added. Think of PRI as a superset of channelized. So if
you just get a channelized line, you aren't getting ISDN from the telco.
With channelized service you are limited to analog calls.
