AT&F2MS0=1&D3 works like a charm for me. You do need to run that init
string with an &W on the end of it at least once. I had it in my init
string, but was told by someone that writing the parameters to nvram
every time the modem is reset could cause problems after prolonged
usage, so I removed it.
