It is always windows 3.11 (or 3.1) users.. normally they don't have
decent modems.. but I'm trying to see if I can get a fix for it! :)
They dial into the portmaster with trumpet winsock. The script detects
the connection, sends the login name, sends the password, and it even
gets an IP.. and it shows as "script completed".
BUT, if I do a "sh ses" on the portmaster, the line where the user is
loggin in it shows "CONNECTING" .. and it is not showing any IP's at all.
It stays like that for about 30 seconds, and then it drops the connection.
The "dynamic" IP that the user is getting on his end is an IP that is not
being used by anyone else, so there shouldn't be any conflicts with that.
Anyone has any ideas?
Thanks a lot!!
If you could reply to me and the list, I'd appreciate it.. I only get the
digest! :)
