Once upon a time Mervyn Jack shaped the electrons to say...
>I have one of our ports (s29) on our PM2e30 stuck on Status: USERNAME
>I have tried changing the type, resetting, rebooting but it's still the same.
>I have included a shot of it's config.

Try turning that on. The port is in login mode and with modem control
off it isn't wait to see DCD to provide the prompt. Change the port type
or turn on modem control and it should drop.

Also note that some of the older expansion cards (and real early main boards)
would have DCD float high over time on ports with nothing connected. And
that would cause USERNAME - but in this case it is showing DCD-. It isn't
a problem, it is just the way they were designed. It doesn't do anything
bad and connecting anything to the port pulls off the charge so it drops.
