Does that mean you actually *know* how to get modems to work with telnet for
dialout? :)
I've tried setting the ports to every combination of settings imaginable,
I've put the modem on a specific port, I've created a pool.. (ComOS 3.3.2)
I can always connect to the modem, at least according to the portmaster,
but I can either not get a response from the modem at all, and what I type
show up as 'pending', or I can get what I type to me echoed and go through,
but still can't get the modem to accept anything of what I type. Any ideas?
Does it matter that I've been doing this with random free ports on the
portmaster? Should I use S0-Sn?
