Portmaster Not Asking for Login

I have PM2 20 Hayes Optima 28.8 modems attached. I have the PM working
very well with the "test" modem. The modem answers, asks for a login, and
starts a PPP session.

The problem is the other 19 ports. I can dial in, the modem answers, but
I never get a LOGIN promt. If I look with PMConsole, the status for that
port will be "username". I havecloned the working port to the rest. I
have no idea what to try next. Any suggestions?
