It has the same ability as the rest of our products. With a location
table (for MP or Livingston load balancing) it can add any number of
data channels up to the Max Ports configured in the Location. When pending
data reaches the High Water mark set in the Location it brings up another
line.
As traffic decreases the last added line will go idle. After the time
set in the Idle Time on the Location that channel will disconnect.
Currently you can only use multiline with the ports on one chassis. The
PM-3 will support multichassis multilink PPP, so the limit will be the
number of ports you have at a POP.
Going forward we are closely watching the progress on BACP.
