Compiling nettty.c for SCO 3.2v4.2 or Linux 1.2.13

Has anyone attempted to compile nettty.c for SCO Unix 3.2v4.2 or Linux 1.2.13?
I can get it to compile, but I have to do same major hacks on both and it still
doesn't seem to work. For SCO, the daemon runs, but when I try to connect
using cu, I get nothing and the Windows Console Control Statsion does not
show a connection. For Linux, the daemon does not return control to the
terminal after it starts.

On SCO:

Added includes for fcntl.h, sys/spt.h (has the ioctl options for /dev/pty*),
dirent.h
Changed d_namlen to d_reclen
Changed direct to dirent
#ifdef'd out the code that calls major, minor, and makedev (none of these
exist in SCO)

On Linux:

#ifndef'd out "signal(SIGEMT, sig_fatal)" (SIGEMT does not exist on Linux)
#ifdef'd out major, minor, makedev...

Is this code spcific to SVR4/POSIX? I would really like to use this since
there is no in.pmd daemon for SCO and Linux.

TIA
