We just recently implemented a block time function so that users who want
to buy say 100 hours can do so. The application uses the radius detail file
and some other programs to check for usage.
Some of the key highlights are the following.
1. You can sell block hours and set the time period. i.e. Customer wants to
buy 100 hours for say 3 months. Or customer wants 1000 hours of the period
of two years. Or customer wants 1000 hours until they run out. You can also
give say 10 hours between Jan 10 and Jan 15 and then they are cut off.
2. You can also give say 100 hours for two month periods. It is also
flexible enough that if a customer buys 50 hours per month and does not use
last months that this time is banked. You can set the banking option how
you wish. Let them bank 1 month two months or two years.
3. After the hours are used the customer is suspended and you get daily
reports as to who is suspended.
4. Block time hours can be checked by way of Home page or email.
5. Seperate config files for easy set up of additional Portmasters when
they are added.
6. This program also tracks the regular users time also and generates
monthly extracts that can be downloaded to a Database.
