I am an ISP in Central Nebraska operating two PM2e-30's that are
coupled to US Robotics MP16I's (yes I am aware that the new PM3 is
on the horizon).
All of our lines are ISDN riding on T1 circuits - 8 ISDN per T1. We
rely on the MP16I to handle the calls.
We are experiencing:
1 - untimely disconnects
- either immediate after connect
- or after 5 - 7 minutes on line
2 - isdn B channel rings once and goes to rapid busy (120)
3 - cyclic noise on one or both B channels of an ISDN circuit
4 - watching the LED indicators on the MP16I's we see ISDN circuits
loose sync and re-sync on a random basis.
Does anyone out there have similar setup to ours and if so please
advise if you have had or are having such problems or have found
solutions. GTE has been very helpful in attempting to solve our
problems but are beginning to point the finger at me.
