There are db-25 to Rj-45 adapters. Typically, you have to push the pins =
into the correct configuration (the pins are crimped, but not plugged =
into the shell). You can look in the PM manual for the pin-out.

We just purchased some used Livingston PM2-30's.

We received some RJ45-RJ45 patch cables with the units. They were
standard Telco wire 8 conductor solid wire cables.

The connectors on the rear of the PM2-30's are DB25, not RJ45.
Our modems are USR MP-16's with RJ45 jacks.

Is there a converter cable needed? Or an adapter?
